Concept of the game

Each person will start of with a building. The details of the building are found on a card and there are many different types of buildings throughout the game. After the person rolls the dice and makes a move, he may land on a tile that asks him to answer a few questions about natural disasters etc. to earn money. He may also land on a tile that says he encountered a natural disaster and part of his money is taken away, rather than the entire building being destroyed in the beginning of the game as he does not own much property yet. There are other tiles in the later part of the game where he also encounters a natural disaster and is given a chance to save his property by answering a question. If he gets it right, his property is saved, if its wrong, nothing will happen and his property/money is destroyed/lost. He may also land on a tile that says he has invented something and earns a sum of money which he has access to the property/buildings that he is able to buy. He is also able to sell his property to other players or the bank but there is a system where the price of the property will fluctuate. We shall name that system the Market. There are also other buildings that have special abilities like controlling the weather to use it against another player to destroy his buildings or to generate money. The players win when their total value of money is the highest and the maximum worth of all of their property is the highest in accordance to the ending Market value. There are different variations of the game like going 2 rounds of the entire game before it ends or the player wins by calculating the total value of the property he owns.

Individual Reflection Lesson 8 - Jonathan

Our survey is more or less complete, just that Mr Wu told us that some of the questions seemed to be a little unsuitable and we had to re-think a few of the survey questions.
